| Tap “Add Mail Account”

Fill in the inoformation.
Note that your name is transmitted with an email, but Description is simply for you to identify this particular account/mailbox on this device.
Tap Next.

Note that you are setting up an IMAP account, which is almost always what you want. (Your mail will stay on the server - if you do not delete it - for you to see from your desktop machine.)
Tap in Host Name field on the Incoming Mail Server section...

Fill in the Incoming section like this.
NOTE: Your Host Name for SpeedSpan accounts starts with “mail” followed by a period (not @), followed by your domain name. (There are a few domains that start “mailhost”. Hopefully you know who you are.)
NOTE: Use your full email address for the username (for mailboxes hosted by SpeedSpan).

Fill in the Outgoing section (scroll the screen up) in the same way (same server name).
NOTE: Fill in the username (full email address) and password even though screen says it is optional.
Tap Next.

Your phone will complain about the identity of the server. That's because it tries to use an encrypted (SSL) connection.
The SpeedSpan server can handle encrypted connections, BUT to completely fulfill the conditions for this, a purchased certificate of authentication would have o be installed on the server for your domain. (Then the identity would be verified.)
Tap “Continue”

| Your Account is established.

If you want to turn off SSL / Encryption so your phone doesn't complain from time to time, do this.
