"The upload/edit program works very well and is easy to use... This is just perfect"

Design
Options:
SpeedSpan dialup customers can start their own web site, creating
web pages using different methods. You can design from scratch
on-line; one of our templates may help you get started, but
you'll need to know html to begin customizing it. Probably
the best way, however, is to design your pages on your own
computer using whatever tools you have (text editor, or wysiwyg
editor such as FrontPage or DreamWeaver), then upload those
pages.
Room
to Grow: Ability to Organize. Whether you design
on-line or off-line, your site is updated using your web browser
and our SiteMgr interface (copyright, S. Morton). It gives
you all the tools you need. Your site will consist of html
pages and graphics (jpg, gif, png), and can be quite large;
we give you 10 megabytes of space to work with. As your site
grows, SiteMgr will let you organize it into directories (folders).
Gather
Info with Easy-to-Use Form: In addition to html
and graphics, we give you an easy way to create forms for
collecting data or getting feedback. You only have to edit
our "mailform" html form to suit your needs. (It is what we
use for our SpeedSpan request/feedback form.) You can customize
the appearance of the form (as with any html page), and you
can edit the fields so that you get back data under the headings
you want. For example, maybe you don't need someone's email
address, but you do want to hear their opinion about nuclear
energy, or their open dates for your next meeting. You can
do it. Anytime a visitor fills out your form, the results
are emailed to you, or whomever you designate.
Simple
Web Address: When your page is ready, tell your
friends where to find it. It's at web.spsp.net/userid/ where
"userid" is your dialup account name. That's simple! Of course,
if you want to make a clickable link in an email, you can
be more specific: http://web.spsp.net/userid/mypage.htm.

instructions.
